University Heights is a lovely neighborhood, just south of the main part of town. The single-family homes have no HOA and the area is prized for it's abundance of ponderosa pines. At the base of the neighborhood you'll find a section of the Flagstaff Urban Trail, as well as townhomes and condos.
"What I love about University Heights: The trees! I feel like University heights is one of the most wooded neighborhoods in town
I love the great playgrounds and space to run around. AND the proximity to the 17 is great - when I was commuting to Phoenix that was a real plus!" - Mike C.
Country Club has it all - condos, town homes, and single family residences - all tucked away in the beautiful pines and surrounded by amazing amenities and activities to please everyone. Go golfing, swim at the Bear Paw Recreation Center, enjoy some mini golf, or take a walk around the beautiful duck ponds while you take in those mountain views.
Kachina Village is just a few miles south of Flagstaff and is known for it's quaint winding streets, pine trees galore, and the beautiful wild life in the Kachina Wetlands. No HOA means it's ideal for long or short term rentals, but many year-round residents call Kachina Village home as well.
The neighborhood is very friendly and kind, giving me a sense of safety and security. Living so close to the wetlands has been better than I could have imagined." - Marcia M.
If you're looking for a home in the pines with tons of access to nature, Munds Park is the place for you! A few miles south of Flagstaff, this neighborhood features tons of trails, a lake, a country club, and countless opportunities for fun.
"I'm really enjoying living in Munds Park because it feels like a tight-knit community. It's been really lovely getting to know my neighbors and the business owners out here. The neighborhood is beautiful, and there are several hiking trails within walking distance of my house, which has been great for me and my dog to explore!"

Bellemont (aka Flagstaff Meadows) is an AWESOME neighborhood just west of Flagstaff. The short drive means general lower prices, more outdoor space, and amazing mountain views. Check out this video for more info on Bellemont!
I love the sense of community here. The kids love being able to easily bike to two different parks. I love the easy access to trails, and the beautiful view. "
Downtown Flagstaff has tons of great restaurants, historical sites, and the Flagstaff Visitor's Center. You'll love navigating the streets filled with historic buildings, grabbing a bite to eat at a great local restaurant, and doing some shopping to support a local business. Here are some of my favorite places and sites downtown.
"Best thing is that I can basically walk to everything…restaurants, yoga, grocery stores, evening events in historic downtown and even up to the observatory if you want a good workout. That and being able to get on my bike and access all the trails right from my front door. Everything is so accessible and other than getting to the airport, you really don’t need a car if you can walk and bike."
